Biography
My work explores a desire for order, control, and utility in conflict with a shameful delight in impulse and pandemonium. I use acrylic paint and graphite on panel boards, and play with a variety of layers, textures and tools.
I grew up in Montana, graduating from The University of Montana in ceramics and drawing. I moved to the Mid-Atlantic and spent time working in a production pottery, and managing art education and membership for an arts non-profit. I currently work at the Holter Museum of Art in Helena, Montana with the great privilege of living and working in a thriving arts community with my family.
